Send 100 GB files and raw video straight between your devices. No cloud in the middle.
One program on your PC turns it into a private file room. Your phone, your laptop, a colleague's PC: each joins from a link or a QR code in its browser. No app to install, no account to make, no upload to someone else's server. Files go from one disk to the other, and a raw 4K to 16K video plays on an iPhone before the download even starts.
Portable: unzip anywhere, run PeerDrop-Kurulum-Sihirbazi.exe for a desktop shortcut, or start peerdrop.exe directly. Windows SmartScreen may warn on first run because the binary is not code-signed yet; the SHA-256 of the package is listed under Download.
Why it exists
Every "send a big file" tool makes the same trade: it uploads your file to its servers, then the other side downloads it. That is two transfers instead of one, it is paced by the slowest of the two internet links, and it caps the size, or the quality, or both. WhatsApp recompresses video to a fraction of the original; WeTransfer stops at 2 GB without a plan; LocalSend is fast but needs an app on both ends and the same Wi-Fi.
PeerDrop takes the other route. The sender's PC is the server. Whoever opens the link talks to that PC directly: over the local network when both are on the same router, and through a Cloudflare tunnel that the program opens for itself when they are not. Nothing is stored anywhere except the two disks that were going to hold the file anyway.
How it works
It opens a room in your browser and shows a link and a QR code. On the same Wi-Fi the link points at the PC directly. Away from home it opens a Cloudflare HTTP/2 tunnel and gives you a public link that works from any network, without a fixed IP or router settings.
Phone or PC, any modern browser. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. The room looks like a chat: a timeline of files, messages and clipboard snippets, shared both ways.
Drag and drop, Ctrl+V a screenshot, or queue a whole folder of footage. Each file streams straight to disk in chunks into a .part file, and appears in the timeline with its SHA-256 digest once it is complete.
Videos are served with HTTP byte ranges, so a 50 GB .mov opens and scrubs in the browser immediately, including Safari on iPhone. PDFs, text and code open in an inline reader; ZIPs can be listed without extracting them.
Speed, and what limits it
There is no server in the way, so the only limit is the slowest link between the two devices. PeerDrop measures throughput on every chunk and shifts between chunk sizes and pacing delays, so a weak uplink is not flooded (the usual cause of stalled tunnels on ADSL and 4G) and a gigabit LAN is not starved.

These are the engine's targets measured on the author's own lines; your router, Wi-Fi band and disk will move them. A phone on mobile data can tell PeerDrop to hold large files until it is back on Wi-Fi, so a 20 GB video does not eat a data plan by accident.
